Apart from the archaeological and heritage places there are endless places that you should see if you would like to appreciate the real Greece.

For those who worship the sea there are many untouched beaches reachable by boat. For those who love the heights, the Gerania range is close enough for romantic strolls and more energetic mountain hikes. Temples and Byzantine churches lie within a short distance of town; these include the Heraion on exquisite lake Vouliagmeni and the monasteries nestled in the mountains.

Here are some of our favourite places close to the hotel. It takes 20 to 30 minutes drive to get to some of the most picturesque landscapes in Greece. This is where we escape when we are not at the hotel but do not tell anybody....
